Air compressor noise control mainly uses three aspects: muffler, muffle tunnel and sound insulation technology:
Installing a muffler
The main noise source is the inlet and exhaust ports. Appropriate inlet and exhaust mufflers should be selected. The frequency spectrum of the air intake noise of air compressors has a low frequency characteristic. The air intake muffler should use a resistive structure or an impedance composite structure mainly based on resistance. The air pressure of the air compressor is high, and the air velocity is high. Use a small-hole muffler at the air outlet of the air compressor.
Setting up a silencing tunnel
The underground or semi-underground tunnel of the muffle tunnel, the tunnel wall is made of sound-absorbing bricks. Connect the air inlet pipe of the air compressor with the muffler tunnel, so that air enters the compressor through the muffler tunnel. The use of muffler tunnels can greatly reduce the intake noise of the air compressor, and its service life is longer than that of ordinary mufflers.
Building a sound enclosure
After the muffler is installed at the air intake and exhaust ports of the air compressor or the muffle tunnel is installed, the airflow noise can be reduced below 80db (a). Install a sound insulation cover on the unit. Suspension space sound absorbing body: At Foshan Lingge Air Compressor Station, the tall and empty factory building has heavy reverberation. If the sound absorption body is dispersedly suspended on the roof of the factory building, the noise of the factory building can be reduced by 3-10db (a), and the reverberation time can be reduced by 5-10s.
